Have you Seen our Web-based Trade Calculation Tools Page?

If you are an engineer or contractor, you will know the difficulty of calculating costs for designs and saving multiple projects. Thankfully, Loos Seismic Bracing has the solution, our Engineers' Tools. The Engineers' Tools Seismic Calculator will process all of the complex NFPA-13 seismic calculations from your designs and produce a completed NFPA-13 form. The tool is also free to use! In today’s blog we will provide an overview of how to use our calculation tool on our website. We will provide step-by-step instructions to ensure that the process for filling out our form goes quickly and smoothly!

Step 1:

The first step to begin using our Engineer tool is to create an account. After clicking the create an account button on our webpage, you will be taken to a basic registration page. Here you will have to write down some company information, personal information, and then select an email & password for your account creation.

Step 2:

After setting up your account, the next step is to create a project. Creating your project on our website is a key step in ensuring that you have a central location for all your design information to be saved.

Step 3:

Now that you have created your project, you have to create your necessary designs. Our tool will generate bills of materials for easy quoting. It is crucial to include all materials and designs to have the most accurate calculations for your project.

Step 4:

Our calculation tool will do the work from here! Your next step will be to print the NFPA13 Seismic Bracing Calculation and bill of materials documents. You will be able to submit your completed NFPA-13 form to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
